Team Jade

Ok green teams the challenge has begun!
A few things to remember
- post books as read into this thread
- remember to post your read books to your wheelathon shelf
-captains/co-captains you should have access to your spreadsheet and the captains group already. If not, message me
-books need to be read before noon Sunday 28th March (Australian EDST) for week 1, and then week 2 begins with a new word! (countdown to week 2 is here

I think people might be just showing which books they have to fit each letter? Not sure... anyway...just focus on the books you read and if it fits and how it fits. You don't have to represent every single letter, you just want to show once you finish a book if/how it fits any of the letters and then the captain will arrange our submissions however she sees fit to benefit the team. If we (the team, not the players) spell out LICORICE one full time, we can try to spell it again, so if you read 3 books that fit, captain might use one for the first spelling, then two for another, etc.

Hey Joi, I personally just wanted to have a tracking post with books that I may read and how they fit. It helps me to know beforehand where they could fit, plus if I see a letter that we haven't got yet I can see if one of my books will fit that letter. (Very visual person here).

How is everyone getting along on their reading? I am ready to add some books in! ;) Let's see how many of us can get a book read today...no pressure if you don't...we have a week to get the word done! :D
~ Happy Reading ~

I wasn't sure I'd really like it, but it was recommended to me and I'm glad I grabbed it. If you like HF you will really like it. It's such an interesting mix of HF and current times. The two characters are awesome.

Sensual Ghosts by Alexandra Amalova
Will fit for:
R for character Ronny, Ruby, Rose and Rita
L for Laura
Not sure what else I will be picking up to read.
Forget this book. Not long enough.

C- for title, Cold
R - Character Roy, Rose
book has 277 pages although GR has 288 pages...but still in the page range.
The cover on my book does look mostly black, but the cover on GR doesn't so I am not going to use that.

Rebecca,
Which was audio and which was kindle? Also for audio did the narrator's name fit any of the letters?

E, C - Emily Janice Card (narractor)
Eat, Drink, And Be Buried was on kindle (208 pages).

Team Jade,
I want to make sure everyone gets all of their points and our team as well.
If you see something on the spreadsheets that is incorrect or something I missed please bring it to my attention.
I do have a couple of appointments today, but will be checking in between them both and then when I get home from the last one. So if anyone has a work posted, I will get it updated then.
Saturdays are important as far the tallies go...6PM my time is Noon/Sunday Australian time, so I figure if I keep a running tally, then I won't be behind in getting the weekly final updates in. :)
Hope everyone has an enjoyable reading day! I would like to see some books read and that I can add to our spreadsheets! :) But no pressure, we still have the rest of the week.
~ Happy Reading ~

Finished: 3/23/15
Pages: 353
Rating: *****
Fits:
L - Lisa Lutz (author)
I - Isabel Spellman (main character)
R - Rae Spellman (secondary-main character)
O - Olivia Spellman (secondary-main character)

You can use title, author's first or last name, series or any character (first, last name or nickname if it's used often) that show up in the book (it has to actually be part of the book not just someone talking about him)

How are things going with the reading? I had a busy day today, and got some reading done while waiting a little over an hour to see the doctor.
Is anyone working on a 500+ page book? I do have a few that I am working on in addition to reading other books that are not quite so large. ;)
~ Happy Reading ~

392 pages

I know I am up just after midnight my time, but I had a book that I just could not put down. I finished the book a few minutes after midnight, so I just put it on for Wednesday. We just need an O to complete the round once. :)

I don't think you can use this one for the title for letter I. I believe it has to be the first word in the title to count. But at least it fits other places and gets the cover bonus! But, I see you used it for character name, so it works for I anyway. Just wanted to make sure the title option is clear to everyone.
