I had problems as they gave me a US code instead of a UK one, but I emailed them and they were really good, I got my code through this morning!

Thank you for the posting format, V. I was just thinking about it last night and wondering how to post it. I've got several books I'm down to the last little bit as well, so I'll have several done pretty soon.

Was just a suggestion if anyone else has an idea, we just need to keep it simple so it's easy to pick out from all of the other posts.

V, I have another book (I needed it for another challenge) that I've held off finishing the last little bit that was not on my original list.

It is:


Cold Mountain|Charles Frazier

It won't work for either title or author, but will for a couple of the characters:

'A' Character = Ada
'R' Character = Ruby

perfect :o)

Add it when you've finished it and we can switch some of the books around to fit it in somewhere :○)

V, I'm sorry...I don't want to be a pain. I have another question though. The start of the challenge according to the countdown clock is going to be about 8pm tonight for me, here in the US.

After I finish a book, it is still going to be Saturday (Mar 21) here, so how do I mark my book? Do I just go ahead and put in the date read as March 22nd (even though it is really Mar 21st for me)? Or do I just do it like normal, with it showing a date read of March 21st? Also, I could wait until after 12am March 22, my time, which is the way I normally do it.

I just wasn't sure how best to do it.

ooh good question, to be honest I don't know lol.

I would personally put them as 22nd as that is when the challenge is supposed to start, but I'll double check in the captains questions thread and come back to you as I don't want to be giving out wrong information, unless Renee pops in here to answer.

I plan to be up most of the night reading, hoping to finish my Geometry of sisters book that i started by the pool today. Got major sunburned today and ended up taking a three hour nap tonight, wide awake, so that will be good for my reading start on this:)

awful book. ugh. took me forever to read it, finally dredged through the last few chapters now so i could finish it and finally get it off my shelf

I actually have a question..

I've been reading since october, the 15 book collection of the wizard of oz, i've got the exact collection that i have on my shelf, that is listed as like 3k pages, and is all one batch on goodreads, and from the publisher for my review on my review webpage, sometime within this challenge im going to finish it, and review it for the publisher.

would this count for our challenge as one gigantic book? or do i have to count the last books ive read since the challenge started? or how would that work?

That Goodreads app is really weird, V. It does some crazy stuff.

I know it's a nuisance, not sure why i use it so much to be honest.

it did that to me too! my app brought me to HP but the browser brings me to the right place.
