3rd Quarterly Challenge - Book Puzzler

How to play:
Unlike the show, this challenge will not be based around People magazine but will be all about books. Each crossword will be randomly assigned to teams and will be about a particular series, trilogy or duology. So, each clue and answer will only relate to what the crossword will be about.
For example, your team has a crossword about ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ and you see the following clue:
The last name of the three orphan children.
The answer would be “Baudelaire” and you would then spell it out (as a team) in the following ways -
Option 1: Titles only (first letter of any word and edition)
B - Better than the Movies
A - As Good As Dead
U - Until Friday Night
D - Dead Until Dark
E - Every Summer After
L - Lock Every Door
A - Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret
I - It's Kind of a Funny Story
R - Ready Player One
E - Every Last Word
Option 2: Series title only (first letter of any word and edition)
B - Mave Fortune
A - Jack of Hearts
U - Until November
D - Gifted
E - Every Day
L - The Alchemists of Loom
A - King of Clubs
I - Into the Shadows
R - Until I Die
E - Saved By The Alpha
Option 3: Author’s first/middle/last name initial
B - Raw
A - Enchantment
U - These Deadly Games
D - Silverweed: A Supernatural Fairy Tale
E - Twisted
L - Perigord
A - Pandora Syndrome
I - Heartless
R - The Demon King's Bride
E - Cemetery Tours
Option 4: A mixture of options 1-3
B - Raw
A - As Good As Dead
U - Until November
D - Silverweed: A Supernatural Fairy Tale
E - Every Summer After
L - The Alchemists of Loom
A - Pandora Syndrome
I - It's Kind of a Funny Story
R - Until I Die
E - Cemetery Tours
Once the crossword is completed, the team will receive 10 bonus points and a new crossword until the challenge is over.

This challenge will only take place during the months of July, August, and September. That means, books will be accepted from July 1st to September 30th. Winners will be announced on October 1st.
If you start a book before July, you will only be able to count the pages that you read in July for this challenge. If the page amount is over 100 pages, you can still count it towards a category.
When signing up, please mention the number of books you plan on reading per month. This number will be easier for me to make teams match up a bit more evenly.
For example,
Alaina - 7-10 bpm
Felicia - 1-2 bpm
Andy - 5-7 bpm
Aly - 8 bpm
Jennifer - 3 bpm
**You will not be penalized if you go over or under your number.**
The general challenge rules can be found here.

Book Puzzler Challenge
This challenge will be based on the American television game show called People Puzzler. It is hosted by Leah Remini and broadcasted by Game Show Network. The show is inspired by the celebrity and pop-culture themed crosswords in People Magazine.
If you haven’t seen or heard about this show, let me break it down for you.
The game is played among three contestants. On a player's turn, they choose one of 10 words on the board, identifying it in the same way as a regular crossword puzzle (i.e., 1-across, etc.). The contestant is shown the first unrevealed letter in the word, and a clue is given. Correct answers score points based on the length of the word (similar to both The Cross-Wits and the 1980 NBC version of Chain Reaction); a contestant who correctly solves three words in a single turn is awarded bonus points. The contestant keeps control until they either make a mistake or score a bonus. If the contestant does make a mistake, the correct answer is not revealed, allowing the next contestant in line an opportunity to choose it again to obtain further letters and making it easier to solve (although they may choose another word). The last remaining letter in a word is never given.
Some puzzles have a "Double Word", a clue that covers two words in the puzzle, forming a two-word phrase. Both halves of a Double Word must be solved together, and correctly solving a Double Word earns the combined value of both words.

Round 2:
Tiebreaker:
Round 3: (also known as head-to-head showdown)
Bonus Round: (also known as fast puzzle round)
