I love the poem that started off the book! That was beautiful.

I also absolutely adore the idea that if Tristran retrieves a star they see fall from the sky, he will have his heart’s desire. What a cute concept!

I'm not sure if i love Victoria's character yet. We shall see. (hide spoiler)]

I love the names of the different characters in this book. I mean, Charmed as a name? unique. and i love that Charmed also doesn't seem to think Victoria is worthy of all this ,haha.

i also like that there's a bunch of other storyline happening in addition to Tristran's journey. i'm curious about this Brevis boy.

I'm a bit confused by the idea of a star being a woman.. but i have a feeling something more comes out of that whole scenario. (hide spoiler)]

Tristrain's little talent for finding / knowing paths comes in handy huh?

lion and unicorn fighting? what an odd little weird. hahaa.

the witch-queen is looking for the star so she can be young and beautiful again.. lame on her part.

and what's up with the trio of brothers competing aginst each other it seems?

i'm confused by his dreams... is he actually dreaming?

why couldnt madame see yvaine? or was she pretenidng?
and septimus dies too.. well that was an epic fail for all fo them huh?

oof, victoria is ... a mess.. but i'm glad he realized she wasn't the one for him.

and whatttt. the booth slave is Una - tristrain's mom right.. and he's a lord. fancy.

its kind of funny to think about that when it comes to who would win a fight...i love unicorns and would pick them every time but lions are fierce

i would say most animals are a great judge in character...especially horses...back when i owned a horse i brought around a guy i was dating to the farm and my horse kept wanting to bite him...haha should have known then

i personally think she was pretending but with this genre you never know
