Kaylee (heyykaylee) | 3 comments First of all, I don't know if the staff or Librarians actually control this, so I apologize in advance if I'm beating a dead horse that Librarians can do nothing about.

There's no reason the Librarian quiz should be timed. I'm disabled. There's no way I can sit for 30 minutes let alone finish the quiz. I attempted to, and had too many questions wrong because I had to basically guess on many.

I'm able to retake the quiz by now, but I know I can't do it well enough in the allotted time, so I'm not bothering me. There is a wall here that would have to be knocked down with a lawsuit via the ADA (in the United States, anyhow) if this was a place of employment.

Alas, volunteerism on the internet runs rampant in order to get around this kind of thing. And paying people.

I'm not saying the quiz itself needs to be changed. But the timer is not necessary.

Scott | 8711 comments I imagine it is to keep people from spending time looking things up while they are taking the quiz. In any case it has absolutely nothing to do with librarians, and you should contact support with your suggestions:
