My Group discussion

“You could go to the hospital wing if it’s really bothering you.” She suggested.

“What am I supposed to tell them ‘Hi I’m a werewolf who forgot to take Wolfsbane and I’m going to turn into a brainless monster tomorrow at midnight can you help me?’!?!?!?” Nico hisses. “That wouldn’t help it’d make things worse!”

“I thought they would know already. That you’re a werewolf,” She shrugs, “it’ll be ok.”

Nico starts to calm down. “Yeah whats the worst that could happen?” He says. “Everything is going to be fine.” He starts to look across the isle again, looking for a potions book.

Lana nods encouragingly, following him.

Nico grabs a charms book, a potions book, and a book titled Tales of Beetle the Bard.

“I love Beetle! My mom always read them to me,” Lana said excitedly.

“I’ve heard about this book but never read it.” Nico says, sitting down at the table where his satchel was.

“It’s fairytales. Like, the tale of the three brothers. But I like the Fountain of Fair Fortune better,”

Nico opens the book. He starts to read the book, rapidly flipping pages. “I think I like the Warlocks Hairy Heart best but the Fountain of Fair Fortune would be a close second.”

“Or maybe Babbitt Rabbity and her Cackling Stump.” He says.

“I like that one too,” She smiles, reading over his shoulder on tip-toe. “My mom likes the tale of the three brothers best,”

“Aren’t those about the three brothers who owned Deathly Hallows?” He asks.

(I meant isn’t that instead of aren’t those.)

“Yeah. Do you believ in them?”


((Gtg, maybe I’ll be back tonight))

“I’m not sure.” He says. “I mean I think the Deathly Hallows themselves might be real but I’m not so sure about the story.”

“Really? I don’t know…I don’t think it’s possible,” She sighs.

“I’m not sure, but I think that you’re probably right.” Nico says, closing The Tales of Beetle the Bard.

She shrugs again and starts to walk away, back to the table.

Nico walks back to the table and starts the o do his essay, pretending to copy off his open potions book.

(I meant to do not the o do)

She continues to write in her journal, smiling to herself.

After about 15 minutes Nico’s essay is done. He puts the essay in his satchel and starts to read one of the books he got.

Lana glances up when he grabs the book. She sets her journal on the table, open, and gets up, apparently not noticing the journal isn’t closed. “I need to find a book for ancient runes,” And she strolls off.

“Okay.” Nico says. Once she’s gone Nico notices that her journal is open and takes a quick glance at it, reading the newest page, then shuts it.

(Also I have 3 rps in a different group so I’ll be slow to respond.)

The page reads:

I think I made a friend. I’ve never really had friends before, apart from Posey, when I was little, back home. He’s a sixth year, but doesnt seem to mind that I’m only in forth. I accidentally sat by him a few minutes ago. I like how…(the page cuts off there, where she must have stopped)

Nico’s blushes slightly but it’s not noticeable to anyone else except for him. “You need help finding your book?” Nico says loud enough that Lana would be able to hear him.

Lana comes out from behind a shelf, “No, I found it. Do you take ancient runes?”

“Yeah, I’m pretty good at it but not that good.” He says.

“Same. It gets a bit confusing sometimes but I do like it.” She puts the book down on the table and opens it. She takes a scroll of parchment and begins to write her essay.

Nico continues reading, humming softly.

“Do you like to sing?” Lana asks, still checking facts.

“Kinda, but I’m not that good.” Nico says.

((Sorry, I went running through morning, I got sidetracked!))

“I bet you’re better than you think,” Lana said firmly.

“If you say so,” Nico says.

((I’m going to be gone for like 5-15 mins, maybe longer, not sure! Brb!))

“I think that’s a lot like what my singing sounds like.” Nico laughs.
