My Group discussion

“Yeah, well. I usually do three. I don’t know what happened. Are you feeling better?” She is putting things, including a drawing, back into her bag.

“Yeah I’m feeling way better.” He says. “Anyway what do you want to do now?”

“I don’t know.” Her hair is a slight bit messed up on one side, and her cheek has the indent of the side of the book she was sleeping on.

“Are you okay?” Nico asks.

“What do you mean?” She looked puzzled.

“Never mind.” Nico says. “Anyway want to hang out the Forrest?”

She smiles, and catches sight of her reflection in a little hand-held mirror that was holding down one of the pages. She quickly fixes her hair and rubs her cheek, “Yeah,”

Nico grabs his satchel.

Nico walks in and sets his stuff down at a table.

Lana follows and sets her stuff down, too. She strolls off to find books.

Nico does the same, heading for a section with graphic novels.

Lana comes back with three very large volumes.

Nico wanders around the library looking for books.

Lana opens up all three books, takes out parchment, and begins to take a bunch of notes.

Nico goes back to the table and starts to read.

(Okay.)

((I’m back))

Lana scribbles out one of her answers. “Nope,” she mutters, and consults the textbook.

Nico starts rapidly flipping pages then picks up another book.

(Sorry was busy but I’m rn if you are! :) )

((I’m on for a bit!))

Lana writes another paragraph, flipping through the textbook.

Nico heads back into the isles, bringing the books he’d gotten with him.

Lana looks up, watching him go, and then looks back down at her essay, and sighs.

Nico comes back with a stack of books and starts flipping through them.

“What are you reading?”

“I’m doing some research.” Nico says.

“On what?” She asked, flipping to a different chapter in the textbook.

“Stuff.” He says, flipping through more books.

“Stuff.” She repeats, and closes her book, a bit louder than necessary, but doesn’t say anything.

Nico continues reading.

Lana keeps glancing up at him, but opens another book.

Nico heads back into the isles with the books he got, and doesn’t come back for about ten minutes, with only one book.

“Nico,” Lana says quietly.

“Hmm?” Nico says, looking up from his book.

“What are you researching?” She asks, not in a pressing way, but a polite, respectful kind of manner.

((Gtg, I’ll be back in about an hour I THINK, might be longer))

“The Deathly Hallows.” He says, heading back into the isles.

(Okay I’ll be on till 7:15 central time)

((I won’t be on tonight but I will be in the morning))

(Okay I’ll be on than too.)

“The Deathly Hallows?” Lana said, very eyebrows raised.

((*her eyebrows raised))

Nico nods as he comes back to the table. He comes back with 2 books and he starts to flip through them, reading some parts and skipping others.

“Um…why?” Lana says, a crease between her eyebrows now.

“Because I’m curious.” Nico says.

She nods and continues studying.
