Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ & it is whizzing around to July. I'm excited about this read as I have only read this title once before.

This is my cover The Unfinished Clue by Georgette Heyer

So... how many times have you read this title?

What format are you using this time?

No spoilers please - or use spoiler tags. We don't want to spoil a first read for anyone!

Michaela | 68 comments This is my first read, and I got the edition that´s at the top of the thread, as I only just bought the paperback.

sabagrey | 382 comments My first read too - and only the second GH mystery. The first foray into this genre was not encouraging, so I approach this book with some scepticism. A group read is a good opportunity to do so, and I'll give it a try.

Barb in Maryland | 817 comments Ah, my favorite GH mystery! I've read this a dozen or so times .
This time around I'll be reading this edition The Unfinished Clue (Country House Mysteries, 3) by Georgette Heyer
I love that nightclub vibe, and the feather!

My first copy of the book, from 1971, had this charming cover: The Unfinished Clue by Georgette Heyer

Susan in NC (susanncreader) | 4144 comments Same paperback copy The Unfinished Clue by Georgette Heyer as Barb, plus the audiobook, which I LOVE, as it adds so much - the narrator does a great job with La Lola! I’ve read this 4-5 times, it’s my favorite GH mystery, and definitely top 5 for favorite GH books.

QNPoohBear | 1639 comments I read this once and it was memorable. Lola is delightful! I'll try to get to a reread.

I have the 1971 Bantam edition that I'll be reading. I've probably had it since 1971!

Very true! & a lot of us think this is her best mystery, so if you don't like this one, the GH mysteries probably aren't for you. :)

Cheryl | 122 comments I think there is an ethical problem there, but we're supposed to ignore it because of the interest it adds to the plot.
