For this challenge, read books EITHER set in the assigned state OR set in the month or year that state joined the Union (the day of the month should be ignored here).

Examples:
For Delaware, which joined the Union in December 1787, we could read a book set in Delaware, December, or 1787.
For Florida, which joined the Union in March 1845, we could read a book set in Florida, March, or 1845.

If you’re one who loves to read a book set in each state but are having trouble finding books for the tougher states, here are some ideas that might help. There are several clean/Christian lists of books set in each state here on Goodreads, on the Listopia page. Just use the search bar on that page to look for “Christian books set in [name your state].” One example is Christian/clean books set in Kentucky. Also, children’s books count. Libraries often carry lots of children’s books, and the librarians might have some ideas for which books could be set in different states. You are also welcome to ask fellow CFD members here in the thread for suggestions and recommendations for specific states as we go along.

I had great plans to do the same, but with my editing work picking up the last couple of months, I won't have time to get much more read this year. But I am very happy with what I got. Will have to update at some point.

I am doing the same thing Sarita!! Between having pneumonia for almost 2 months, eye surgery and my husband's eye surgery. I just didn't get finished with some challenges that I thought I could do.

You had a huge move, and that had to be tough with your littles as well.
