I listen to the stolen CDs, because I bought them when they first came out, so the money's already been spent and it doesn't really affect it. And I listen to the stolen ones for albums we don't have TV for as well. Like Debut just hits too hard for me to not listen lmao.

@magda in my defense, the stolen version's CD isn't even mine. I sometimes borrow it from my mom. I bought Speak Now TV's CD with my own money so I'll listen to that one way more

i miss the og lyric but at the end of the day it's not that important (to me) and i'd rather stream taylor's version than the stolen version. i can understand why people are upset tho, i was a little upset at first too. :(

Probably not…at least on streaming. Re-recordings aren’t just business, they are deeply personal for her so I wouldn’t feel comfortable if my listening to the song on Spotify or Youtube somehow benefitted SB. I will, however, sing the new song using the old lyrics!

Probably the og, the new one doesn't give me the same vibes...it feels like she was forced to make it, the raw teenage energy isn't there anymore. That being said her voice has also matured so much and it sounds so great on never grow up!

Even though I don't like listening to the stolen version, I doubt many people will since she just released the TV to it. But for me it's just the mattress line because it fits in the story so much better. I also have this super small theory where Better than Revenge is basically the twin song to Misery Business and the mattress line also matches that more.

i'd never listen to the stolen version because even though i loved the mattress line i don't care as much, but i love the og sm more than taylor's version (so sorry) but I'd never listen to stolen version on streaming, only on vinyl or in CD form

for me it's less about the line but more about the anger she had in the og version, idk its more fun to listen to angry teenage taylor esp for this song. I only listen to it on vinyl tho
