2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I am reading Smiley's latest book, Some Luck, for another book club and wish I'd read this one first--it sounds much better.

I am reading this for my pultizer prize book also.

I might read this for my "book you should have read in school, but didn't", but I'm debating between two books. If you recommend this, I might choose this over Bonfire of the Vanities.

I read this book for this category and loved it. It is a bit better than "Some Luck," but as that is the first in what sounds like a sweeping trilogy it makes sense to me. I highly recommend this one.

That's good to know since I already bought the book.

I'm a bit behind, just getting started on this one today, 5/11.

I have 'Some Luck' on my to-read list but I was advised to read this one first so I have chosen it for the Pulitzer Prize week. I hear great things so I am looking forward to getting started!
