Theresa | 15533 comments I always love hos lists for the shear diversity of them.

All the Sinners Bleed is top of my list and will be read soon - from author of the brilliant Razorblade Tears.

Meli (melihooker) | 4165 comments I've always loved that he heavily features fiction which I think can be as impactful as non-fiction.

A lot of these successful / powerful people focus heavily on non-fiction. People like Bill Gates and other business types. YAWN!

Jen K | 3143 comments Thanks for sharing! I love to see what Obama recommends. I have 5 on my library hold list but haven't read any. I should fix that. Also super excited for the new SA Cosby book.

Joanne (joabroda1) | 12571 comments I also love that Obama reads a lot of fiction. Shows me that the man is human, and his reading is an avenue to relaxing and escaping!

Theresa | 15533 comments Because he features a lot of fiction -- and different genres of fiction -- I believe he actually is reading these books because he just wants to -- they are not a way to enhance an image.

A few years ago he had a list of books he recommended to his eldest daughter as she graduated high school. It was the same year he did the commencement address at Barnard College and they were visiting colleges with her. It was just an amazing interesting and even fun list!
