Hi all,

If I'm creating eBook, paperback and hardcover of the same book, do I just create 1 format of the book then add a new edition with a different format?

Is it necessary to add the various formats?

There are multiple reasons to list the different editions. Multiple editions is the only way to correctly list each ISBN/ASIN, which helps people to find the book on Goodreads. And some people really like to shelve the exact edition they have.

Excuse me, I was wondering if someone can tell me how I can replace the edition I claimed as my work? But actually another file is my work. I tried to type everything in manually, but it says that I can't achieve it because it's the one I want to actually claim as my work. Can you please help me out. I felt like such a fool.

Not really sure what you mean. Did you claim the wrong profile? Can you link to the record that needs correcting or moving?

Well, it's on your profile, but I did see a blank record and I am merging it. Is that what you meant?

I found two proper records that had been deleted by Goodreads and have restored them, so I am merging the other record that has no information. When creating a new book record, always include the ISBN or ASIN.

Everything should be sorted now. Book pages may take some time to fully update.

Yes, thank you so much for sorting that. I really appreciate it. I do have a kindle edition of this book how do I add it to this one?
