Announcing our August list!

This member selected books that have now all been released and they are ones they most look forward to reading. For this challenge, it's great to read book(s) during the focus month, but definitely ok to read from this list anytime in 2023.

For those that want to record their reads for this challenge, here's the link for tracking.

Loraine (librarydiva) | 4439 comments I will read: The Souls of Lost Lake by Jaime Jo Wright

message 4: by Simone (last edited Jul 28, 2023 12:10PM) (new)

Simone (simonec75) | 314 comments I was torn. Then I decided that I have read a few Colleen Coble and Jaime Jo White. So I decided to go with an author I haven't read yet. I ended up with 2 options: Beneath His Silence and A Novel Proposal. I let the kids decide since I couldn't make up my mind. The vote was unanimous ... the winner is:

Beneath His Silence by Hannah Linder

message 5: by Kim (last edited Aug 04, 2023 06:37PM) (new)

Kim Kastner | 249 comments I read and loved The Words We Lost (Fog Harbor Romance) by Nicole Deese and A Seaside Wonder (Muir Harbor, #2) by Melissa Tagg

Currently reading the book after Seaside Wonder Autumn by the Sea (Muir Harbor #1) by Melissa Tagg
Either I’ll count that, or interested in reading A Novel Proposal by Denise Hunter or The Souls of Lost Lake by Jaime Jo Wright

Finished A Novel Proposal by Denise Hunter

A Novel Proposal by Denise Hunter The Words We Lost (Fog Harbor Romance) by Nicole Deese

I plan to read either Beneath His Silence by Hannah Linder or In Spotlight and Shadow (Doors to the Past) by Rachel Scott McDaniel

Sarita | 2288 comments I think this is my list - the move to Netherlands makes me feel on a constant roller coaster.

I've read 3 of these already this year. Beneath His Silence by Hannah Linder A Seaside Wonder (Muir Harbor) by Melissa Tagg A Novel Proposal by Denise Hunter

Not sure yet what I will read in August.

I've read quite a few of these:

A Seaside Wonder (Muir Harbor, #2) by Melissa Tagg Beneath His Silence by Hannah Linder Where the Blue Sky Begins by Katie Powner Passages of Hope (Doors to the Past) by Terri J. Haynes In Spotlight and Shadow (Doors to the Past) by Rachel Scott McDaniel The Words We Lost (Fog Harbor Romance) by Nicole Deese The Starlet Spy (Heroines of WWII) by Rachel Scott McDaniel

Two read earlier this year and that's likely all I will get to in 2023.

Still in the process of moving, but definitely going from winter to autumn/winter. But going to miss the sunny winter here. We had some summer weather last week.
