Nyx | 1800 comments Hi there!

I'm seeking advice on numbering books in a particular series since there is no guidance in Goodreads Manual regarding such a case. There is a prequel which is a short story (22 pages) and it is followed by a novella (105 pages). Should I use only integers as is the policy concerning series made up entirely of novellas (that's what I did) or should I use a decimal for the short story and an integer for the novella? And should I list both as primary works (that's what I did) or not?

Elizabeth (Alaska) A link would be helpful.

How long is the novella? Are there other installments planned?

This is the series in question: https://www.goodreads.com/series/3747.... I don't know if more books will be published in the future but it seems so. The author herself requested the addition: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/....

Elizabeth (Alaska) I think the prequel/short story should be a decimal and that the integer for the novella is fine. We don't know how long the probably subsequent entries will be. The series can be renumbered if later installments are quite a bit longer than Tempting Fête (or shorter).

Okay, thanks for your help!
