Ashley W (starfallreads1) | 6011 comments Hey guys! I'm on my phone so I can't do covers, but I'm starting my whole Maas reread planning for the next Crescent City in January if anyone wants to join me. I'm also planning on the Harry Potter series. Otherwise I'm pretty open to whatever but it'll mostly be KU romances for light reading between those.

Jamie | 12271 comments On a reading break for the weekend. Gettting caught up on other things and checking out some games that have been sitting neglected from lack of play. Might read something short though. We'll see.

message 34: by Brianna (new)

Brianna (littleladylioness) | 1276 comments I finished 2 books, and I'm definitely feeling a slump. Pushing myself into reading another because I signed up for a buddy read but I'm not totally feeling it. Might take a break for a day or two once I finish this. Next BR isn't until Thursday so I should be able to get a rest in :) Or maybe I'll fall in love with this book and feel rejuvenated lol

What games? :)

message 36: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Right now, I am checking out Doki Doki: Literature Club, which I have simply been told it is not what it seems at first glance so we shall see. I also am debating on The Mortuary Assistant, Ni No Kuni or Praey for the Gods as my top choices (at least on Steam) for the weekend, depending what time I have free. Honestly I have way too many games (inlcuding a lot of older titles) that I have just never finished or even started and I need to dedicate more time. I mostly play casual or RPG style games, but I'll try most anything with a decent story. Just no sports games lol. And I am rubbish at most shooters.

My partner is a big gamer and hes the same, has a huge backlog of games to play! Im more of a Sims/cozy farm gamer but also play a lot of league of legends with him lol. I think I've actually heard of Doki Doki, but I'm a scaredy cat lol

Yeahhhh I get it lol. I've been a nurse for 10 years now. I got out of bedside though and work in a clinic now, and though it can be busy and stressful it is much better.

I love to play the sims. Been playing since the original game. :) So much fun. Stardew Valley is a fun one for farming/cozy gaming too.
Doki Doki didn't end up being so scary so much as messing with your head...and other things...Bit creepy at times though.

Haha, I've also been playing since OG sims. I don't play often now but it has such a special place in my heart lol. I just got the newest pack but I havent tried it out yet. I loooove cottage living so I hop this one is good but I dont have super high hopes.
I actually havent played stardew valley! Ive heard really great things though, and I keep seeing cross stitch patterns for it which I love lol.
Haha, did you enjoy it?

So far, I have. Cute variety of story with each character, plus a bit of variety in what and how I want to play each time which is fun. Fairly laid-back. But you have to be okay with old bit style graphics which I know some people cant do.

Sims-I haven't gotten the new pack yet. Waiting for them to iron out all the glitches and then whenever it goes on sale I'll get it. Yes, I think it will go nicely with Cottage Living, which I adore. For now I will just watch others play the game on youtube/twitch.

Yeah that was what originally turned me off it but I do think I would enjoy it with how popular it is. I get recommendations for it all the time.
I just tried it out for a bit last night, the horses are definitely cute. I didnt get too far with it. Maybe will play around a bit today. I recently saw on youtube the rags to ranchers challenge lol. That would be interesting. Im not really sure how you make money with them yet... maybe just completing.
