Sacred Activism Reading Group discussion

This week's discussion will cover sections 1-9, from Separation (p.1) to Despair (p. 52).

The book begins with a reflection on "the narrative of normal" through the lens of "the story of separation," which was a consequence of our replacement of superstition with science and ritual with technology.

Eisenstein asks fundamental questions about who we humans are, what our consciousness is for, and what is sacred. Subsequent sections go on to offer approaches to these questions, if not answers.
