I started 1 new series: Ghost-in-Law series by Jana DeLeon and I will continue it.

3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
no

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I really enjoyed The 57 Bus: a True Story of Two Teenagers and the Crime That Changed Their Lives by Dashka Slater. It's a tough subject to write about and the crime was horrible, but I think everyone should read it. The author does a great job covering both sides of the story without leaning more toward one side.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
It was a slow month due to vacation and being short handed at work, but I'm determined to get caught back up and meet my yearly goal.

5. Overall summary of your reading month? I read 9 books. I always seem to slow down during the summer months. Weird!

I'm up-to-date on Debbie Baldwin's Bishop Security series.

I started Jana Deleon's Mystere Parish series by reading The Reckoning. I wasn't crazy about it, so I'll pass on continuing the series.

I moved forward in five series:
Cormac Reilly - Dervla McTiernan
Troubleshooters - Suzanne Brockmann
Writer Friends - Rachel Gibson
Orphan X - Gregg Hurwitz
Buchanan-Renard - Julie Garwood

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
My only 5-star book was Chemical Capture by Debbie Baldwin.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I finished 11 books in July, so I'm happy with that.

Great month, Robin! Aren’t you just loving the Bishop Security series? I’m loving that our group supports this talented, Indie author.

I completed one series, Bromance Book Club by Lissa Kay Adams

None

3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
I moved forward in one series, Orphan X by Gregg Hurwitz

4. Any standout or 5-star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I had two that were 5-stars, Strange Sally Diamond and Book Lovers, both just captivating me for completely different reasons. I had two special mentions, The Secret Book of Flora Lea and Zero Days.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I’m still falling short of my reading goals (10 books read) and my series reading. However, I highly enjoyed everything I read, with only one that had some issues. All were extremely satisfying so that’s something.
