In 1966 I had a beginner French book that I loved. My husband sold it. I've always wished I had it. It was about 8" x 6". It was the text book I had in French class. It was set up in a way that made learning French not too difficult.

As I remember it was Conversational French or French 1... only English and French used in the book. Did I mention it was red?
I am pretty sure that there were no pictures on the front and it was hard cover... not much help there...
It was just simple conversational French. Very cut and dried but easy to learn.
Hate to say it but I don't think so. Copyright is 1902. Schools would not have used textbooks that old. Also mine was hard cover...
I have racked my brain trying to come up with anything and it's no use. I'm afraid that we'll have to work with the info we already had.
It is conversational text French, not a reference book.

I went to school at Avondale High School in Auburn Hills MI which was Auburh Heights at the time.
However the mailing address was Rochester Hills!
