Happy ending or overall happy? I really loved the Wednesday Wars, Okay for Now, and Just Like That
all are by Gary D. Schmidt. You can read them in any order but they are connected. Pretty quick reads
they aren’t the happiest endings, quite the opposite really but they are happy throughout most of the book. The writing is just so well done and the story is heartbreaking but at the same time you wanna smile.

You could also go with books like Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, etc.

Hey and welcome! I would suggest The Westing Game. It’s kinda like a murder mystery but it’s not dark or anything. It’s actually kinda humorous and… heartwarming? Sorta? Idk I really enjoyed it. I Capture the Castle is also pretty good but it gets a little sad around the middle. It’s overall pretty good tho! And of course you can’t go wrong with The Chronicles of Narnia

Personally, I didn’t like the Chronicles of Narnia…

But, you could try KOTLC, that was a good series. Or Percy Jackson, Harry Potter or an Agatha Christie book.

Keeper of the Lost Cities, Story Thieves (each book is kind of a different genre, it's pretty cool), and Land of Stories are really good ones! And ofc classics like Narnia and Little Women ;)

Yeah, although the ending of book 6 was horrible, in my opinion.

I thought I was the only one who didn't like that epilogue lol
