Goose | 13 comments Hello, I would really love to read a book where magical creatures are a main feature of the story. Perhaps the main character is compiling a field guide, or an encyclopaedia of all the creatures they discover? Ideally want a book that goes into detail about what the creatures look like, how they act, their habitats etc.

Goose | 13 comments I haven't read Natural History of Dragons but have added them to my reading list. They look like they'll be what I'm hoping for.

Although not a novel, I have just bought Faeries of the Faultlines by Iris Compiet. It's an illustration book more in the style of a guidebook. It's absolutely beautiful!

I've also added to my reading list
The Menagerie by Tui & Kari Sutherland, Miss Percy's Pocket Guide to the Care and Feeding of British Dragons by Quenby Olson and Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. Hopefully some of these with fit the bill too!
