While adding that book, I found it already present, filed as "Book 9788865129135" by "Unknown Author" but with the correct cover. I read that this may happen when the book is imported from Amazon (and that it is not to combine the author with the other unknown authors...); I proceeded to add all relevant details and the record was updated. The odd thing is that there where already four ratings and two reviews.
Actually on amazon.com https://www.amazon.com/dp/8865129131 is listed as "Book 9788865129135", indeed. (On amazon.it it is correct). This is of course a bug on Amazon's side and I don't care. My question is: are reviews from Amazon automatically copied to Goodreads?
(I know that Amazon owns Goodreads, or at least has a majority share of it. I understand that reviews from Goodreads may be recycled on Amazon, probably this is even explicitly written in the ToS. But the opposite way seems odd to me...)
If someone searched by ISBN they could still have found the book. And either they didn't notice the title/author issues or they didn't know what to do. I have seen people reviewing/shelving editions that made less sense than this.
