Sharon This book left me wondering…I’m assuming Roxy was the person who made the anonymous call from Bristol alerting the authorities that Erin and Walter were missing. This led to the discovery of the bodies. Walter made the comment to Alix that Josie was always plotting her next move even though she appeared she was the exact opposite. Was this the plan to enable Roxy to renter the picture without her being a suspect in Brooke’s death? How did she get Erin’s PIN to the debit card. Were the three of them in on the plan? Did Josie agree to take the fall for her daughter’s transgressions and is living on the lam on Erin’s income? So many theories.

Sequel?

Whitney I would guess Josie tortured Erin for the pin, probably while she was strapped to the chair. Josie did not take the fall for Roxy because Roxy did not kill Brooke. She skewed her reality to fit what she wanted to be true.

Lucy Thompson The entire family are killers. And sick minded. Maybe Erin and Walter had some pedo/porn thing they both made money off and that's why her account was loaded and he was on his laptop all the time.

Lucy Thompson I reckon Josie is living off money from her daughters. Payment for keeping the truth (whatever that actually is) to herself.

Christy I think the ending was meant to leave you wondering. Sharon brought up a lot of points I didn't consider, but no one mentioned the possibility that Alix knew the plan, or at least some of it. Having her sister over could've been her alibi, and then having her other sister stay last minute gave an excuse for her to "kick Josie out" and also for her hubby to go out for evening... and we all knew that wasn't going go well no matter what. He wasn't going to get home "on time" as promised.
