With a book where a new edition comes out with a different author name just how is the combining supposed to be handled? Do the old editions keep their existing primary name, and have a the new named added as an secondary author and with the new edition have the older primary name listed as a secondary? Should all edition share the same primary name? Do you not combine different editions with different name?

Renske | 12220 comments The use of multiple names is explained on the page about names https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
But the short answers is all editions should have the same primary author following the name policies and then the editions can be combined.
