Now it's 2023. Read a book whose title would score at least 23 points using the Scrabble scoring system:

1 Point - A, E, I, O U; L, N, R, S, T;
2 Points - D, G;
3 Points - B, C, M, P;
4 Points - F, H, V, W, Y;
5 Points - K;
8 Points - J, X;
10 Points - Q, Z

Please Post any questions you have about task 10.7 here.

I found this tool for those of us who have issues with calculations. You can type in a word to get point value or the have lists of words for certain point values already compiled.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14232 comments Keep in mind, this task is for the whole title, not just a title word.

Rebekah (bekalynn) Oh, right. But if you find a word worth 23 points, then you have met requirement because then the title will be over 23 points, right? With the calculator, you could get scores for each word in title too, then add.

Or you could just do it for the whole title.

Owlette | 713 comments Just checking - “the whole title” means the total can include the book’s subtitle, yes?

No, this should be limited to just the title.
