Set during the Cuban missile crisis of 1962 it follows the relationship of Jack and Diana from Oxford to London in the early 1960s. Jack Singleton is studying law at Oxford when he meets Diana through a rich acquaintance, Bart. Although he is in love with Diana he suspects she maybe part of a Russian spy ring that Jack thinks has been operating in Oxford.
