A novella is a short book somewhere between 17,500 and 40,000 words, or roughly between 70 and 160 pages. And novellas have been making a comeback, especially in the sci-fi/fantasy genres.

Any short reads look good to you?

Jen W. (piratenami) For anyone into SFF, Tor has been putting out a lot of great novellas.

Most of the Martha Wells' Murderbot diaries are novellas, as well as Seanan McGuire's Wayward Children series.

Georgann I read River of Teeth (River of Teeth, #1) by Sarah Gailey River of Teeth. It was ok. I won't read the others, tho.
