Thank you I’ll update the page count on the sheet to the default edition

All books are updated on the Main team sheet. We have completed our 4th spell out and started our 5th. To complete our 5th spellout we need:
S - 2
Y - 1
T - 1
I - 1
Z - 1
R - 1

Don’t forget if you are listening to the audio please use the default page count ensuring the audio is shelved.

Also if you are reading the book of the month please use the official page count 😊

The book I am definitely going to finish works for an I (and a T but that is much easier).

I've got days off coming up so I can try and squeeze in a short Z or Y if needed as well.

I just finished 2 books that cover a few of those letters.

My current book works for S. Not sure about the rest so far

Finished and just posted one that works for S and R, and reading one that works for Z.

Just started a Y book!

I'm almost halfway through a book that covers everything except I and Z but there's still time for them to pop up. hahaha

I finally have internet again! But I am currently stuck at work.
I only have a little bit left of my book that works for an I so I will finish that at some point in the next 24 hours. I would really like to finish another book before the end of this round too but I will have a look at what is needed when I finally get on my laptop.

I'm off for foot surgery today. I probably won't be around until saturday but will let you know how it goes :)

I managed to finish Men At Arms at work. Louise or Karen, if one of you get to it before me, I listened to it as an audiobook so it will be the default version.

Our Round 2 word and colour have been revealed. Our word is Didgeridoo and colour is Green.

No super hard letters, but lots of I's, O's and D's will be needed. And Green seems an easier colour than white.

Ooh, I like it! Great Aussie word and no tricky letters. Lets go, Team Rock!

I found a load of O titled books on my library app. Even if I don't read them all this round, I'm sure more O's will show up later.

I can cover a lot of D books then, since German articles (equivalent to “the”) all start with D!

I noticed that in the last posting in the team sheet for Waist Deep by Frank Zafiro -- it should be Z for author last name (instead of author first name).

Does the instrument in the text continue on in this round or will there be something else as a bonus?

Another question: Do we have to start and finish a book in the two week round or just finish in the right timeframe?

The new bonus words are city and country settings. I found it in the Challenge Status spread sheet. It will make it interesting!

So far I've got two. New Orleans, Louisiana and Liverpool UK.

Usually once a book has been started after the Challenge officially starts, then the finished date is the important one as per rounds. Captains might want to confirm this is the same in this Challenge.

Books need to be started after the beginning of the challenge. If you are close to a round deadline and don’t think you’ll finish in time or your book fits better for the new round I always advise holding off finishing the book until the follow round.

I imagine there's a percentage for the setting. From the blurb my next book starts out in Australia, maybe Melbourne, and then goes to Paris. I'll have to read it to find out. But the author LN is Day so that's a plus.

I found these on my to-read-next list: Murdoch Mysteries - Except the Dying by Maureen Jennings set in Toronto, Canada, and The Paris Package - it starts in Vienna, Austria but not sure if for 50%. I have not started reading either one yet.

I finished my Y book.

Also realised a friend recently loaned me a book set in Berlin.

We are now on our 6th spell out. In order to finish it we still need:

Y - 1
E - 2
Z - 1
R - 1

I'll finish a Y book today.

I have nothing to do in bed but read (and occasionally watch TV!) so I'll be able to knock out a few books over the next couple of days

I will definitely finish an R book today!
Hopefully also a Y book

I will finish my remaining book on the SS which will cover an E. Hopefully I will finish it today. At the very least, it will be done before the round ends.

Are we having a crack at another synthesizer, probably part finished? If so I can probably do a short book in time and if not use it for the next round.

Captains, I found this book which looks really good for Sydney, Australia.

Is it green enough. tineye says 46.2% but it looks mainly green to me.

I can finish an E book today, I added it to the tracking sheet.

We are now on our 7th spell it out. If we want to finish it we need:

Y - 1
N - 1
S - 1
R - 1

With the books on the tracking sheet, it will be possible to finish it and start one more. As a reminder we are allowed 1 unfinished spell it out.
