I have books for 17 of the words.


@Jill...The goal of this challenge is to read books for the 26 words listed. We can have the whole word in the title/author/series name or use multiple books for a word to spell it out.

Is it only one letter per book? Unless the word is in the title?

I think so - unless the word is in the title, series, or author's name.

I can read Vampire Academy which will Cover the Word Vampire and, If it counts I can re-read which has the German word Erzdämon (english- Archdemon) in it

Does anybody think that they can find a book with either xenophobia or bogeyman in it? If not, some of us should try and spell those out together. I think those will be the two hardest to find the whole word in the title.

I can read a book with the letter 'x' in it

I agree - I think those are definitely ones we will need to spell-out.

I have options/books for most of the full words. These are the ones I don't have anything I want to read for, except spell out options: Alien, Bogeyman, Insanity, Macabre, Graveyard, Xenophobia, and Unearthly.

Finished the word Vampire, my revieww is up and I updated the spreadsheet

finished happy place and posted my review. Starting Song of Achilles which can help spell xenophobia or unearthly. Opinions?

found a book that works for Alien: Going Home: Diary of a Teenage Alien that I can start tonight :)

The book I'm reading now has x but I can use for another letter.

what'd you think about Song of Achilles? I've heard good things about it, but tend to stray away from greek retellings.

I have a couple books marked on the spreadsheet, which I should have posted in the next day or so, but if someone finishes sooner - please feel free (as always) to switch my book to round two. 😊 We are almost done with round one! 😁

I didn't really enjoy it. kinda slow and boring

I'm 40% into then I think I'll do and then I'll do my BR of which should get us a good chunk of points

@Jill I've heard that from a couple of people, I'm sorry it dragged on for you. It's annoying when you're reading a book and it feels like it takes forever to end....


My gameplan for the next few days: working on and , then moving onto BR .
