Looking forward to this challenge! I currently have books that would cover most of the words (xenophobia is proving more elusive). I'm happy to prioritise the more obscure words.
Getting the full words covered where possible seems to make sense for those who are quicker readers. If we can get any BRs set up then that will help hugely.

Wet day here so have managed to get two words claimed - Werewolf and Clown. Currently reading books that will do 'October', 'Insanity' and 'Masquerade'.

Xenophobia - unless anyone has a book featuring the word - seems to be the main one we will have to spell out. That'll mean 10 books needed to complete the word.

Currently reading a book for 'macabre' and 'ghost' - also reading as a way of getting the X in xenophobia

Have just posted the review for and we now only have the letters P, H and I to count for the word Xenophobia.
With that word cleared, we might need to be strategic about how we get through the others. I have at least one book for every word other than Xenophobia, so am happy to keep reading those. Is it worth us looking at BRs too? It's definitely an easy way to get extra points.

Im currently reading Mother of Death & Dawn, so we can use H for that if its not collected before I finish lol

I think I'm going to finish Murder in the Family tomorrow and we could use I from that book.

Great. I should finish books for ‘demon’ and ‘macabre’ tomorrow.

'Demon' was claimed with individual books. I can either hang onto my book and claim this second time round, or use the author for the H in xenophobia. Anyone have a preference?

Currently reading books with 'ghost' and 'vampire' in. Darkness is the word that has been started as separate letters, so please prioritise those - and check alternate editions.

Currently reading books that have the whole words 'nightmare' and 'horror' in. We then have to claim books for the letters to finish off darkness and unearthly. There's two teams some way ahead - think they're managing to pick off whole words more quickly.

With Yadi's messages, we have now claimed the words for the first time. Messages 92-94 have been used to start claiming for the word 'Zombie'.

Unless claiming for a full word, can we focus on claiming the letters for 'Zombie' and then decide on our next word.
