Dawn, looks like mostly a good month for you; at least you finished The Girl in the Eagle's Talons. I've been trying to read an arc of it for weeks and keep getting bogged down and then go read something else.

Where does the Mathew Venn series take place?

Re 2/5 rating--I'm into archaeology which may cause me to like Excavations more than Dawn.

It takes place in Greystone Devon - where Venn has some childhood experiences and his mother is nearby.

I do seem to have the unpopular opinion so I do think you might like it!

Dawn: I imagine I will eventually try it on audio and then be able to either listen intently or relegate it to a time when I am multi tasking like the grocery store. :)
