I'm jumping in the read-a-thon with a morning cup of tea!
---
Someone you just met: Valyn, a teenager boy with a brain, from The Emperor's Blades.
Someone you can't live without: Pax, a sunshine from the future in Hollow World.
Someone you met when you were little: Ronia, a young independent girl from Ronia, the Robber's Daughter.
Someone who is a lot of fun: Hadrian and Royce, a team from the Riyria Revelations series.
Someone who is very smart: Gandalf from The Fellowship of the Ring (LotR).
Someone you miss: Pax!
Someone who makes you laugh: Rincewind from The Color of Magic (Discworld).
Someone who changed your life: The ants from Empire of the Ants (it opened me to the tiny world and helped me to have a good mark in university, so it changed something).
Someone you crushed on: Haplo from The Death Gate Cycle

It's 10 am here, just woke up. I'm going to prepare a big pot of Earl Grey and snuggle on the couch for a bit. I'll try to answer the challenges later.
Thanks Sophie! I actually work nights so this is more like day time for me. The real challenge will be staying up today, haha. And, to be fair, I've done very little reading at this point but... that's okay! I'm having fun! And I hope everyone else is too!

Someone you can't live without...The Elric brothers from the Fullmetal Alchemist series (also a series I miss)
Someone you met when you were little...Peter Rabbit from Beatrix Potter
Someone who is a lot of fun...Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch by John Cameron Mitchell
Someone who is very smart...Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice
Someone you miss...Jay Gatsby from The Great Gatsby
Someone who makes you laugh...Curious George by Hans Augusto Rey and Margret Rey
Someone who changed your life...I'll go with Vladek Spiegelman from Maus. Not only is it a very different view of the events of the Holocaust, but it will change how you view what many call "comic books" and why many are instead called "graphic novels".
Someone you crushed on... Severus Snape (specifically in Deathly Hallows)

Someone you can't live without... The characters of Lucy Maud MontgomeryLucy Maud Montgomery, Collection Novels
Someone you met when you were little...Katie JohnKatie John and Amelia BedeliaAmelia Bedelia
Someone who is a lot of fun...Miss Piggle WiggleMrs. Piggle-Wiggle Treasury
Someone who is very smart...Christopher John Francis Boone The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Someone you miss...Mattie Rigsbee Walking Across Egypt
Someone who makes you laugh... Ben Starling Paper Towns
Someone who changed your life... The authors who write inspiring characters like Skeeter, Abilene, Minnie, and Celia from The Help, Liesel Meminger and her foster father from The Book Thief, Katniss Everdeen of The Hunger Games, and so many others. Fictional characters don't inspire me as much as the stories of real people who overcome some type of oppression or obstacle in order to thrive.
Someone you crushed on... Can't think of anyone...hmmm.
