It's 10 am here, just woke up. I'm going to prepare a big pot of Earl Grey and snuggle on the couch for a bit. I'll try to answer the challenges later.

Thanks Sophie! I actually work nights so this is more like day time for me. The real challenge will be staying up today, haha. And, to be fair, I've done very little reading at this point but... that's okay! I'm having fun! And I hope everyone else is too!

The authors who write inspiring characters like Skeeter, Abilene, Minnie, and Celia from The Help, Liesel Meminger and her foster father from The Book Thief, Katniss Everdeen of The Hunger Games, and so many others. Fictional characters don't inspire me as much as the stories of real people who overcome some type of oppression or obstacle in order to thrive.
