How much progress have you made towards your reading goals?
I was hoping to complete 3 books, so I guess I made it. I even got my 14 year old daughter to read a full book yesterday. She read

Have you had any major distractions or interruptions?
Yes, I had to finish up a couple episodes of Downton Abbey with my husband before the DVD went back to the library today. And we are heading out of town for a couple hours today as well.
What has been the most challenging thing so far?
Family distraction.



Still on James Herriot
How much progress have you made towards your reading goals?
I read all of the Walking Dead Volume 1, and about 75 pages of Herriot.
Any food or snacks fueling your reading binge right now?
Nothing yet this morning.
Have you had any major distractions or interruptions?
I slept for about 7 hours and have been catching up on these posts for another hour. Hoping to be back in the swing of things at 10:00 my time (12 minutes).
What has been the most challenging thing so far?
Needing sleep but not wanting to sleep.

How much progress have you made towards your reading goals? I have read/finished one book on my list for this event.
Any food or snacks fueling your reading binge right now? a sandwich
Have you had any major distractions or interruptions? I had to stop a little after midnight to go to bed
What has been the most challenging thing so far? Sitting down and focusing...I have ADHD.
Do you have any words of encouragement or advice for fellow Read-a-Thonners? not that I can think of right now.

Now I'm all set on the couch with a nice pot of tea to read Life by Keith Richards (with "Let's spend the night together" in my mind haha).

A sinus headache due to the encroaching rain. Kind of a yay and boo. I want the rain, but not the headache.

Read short books. Leave the ones that could double as door stops for later.
