I'm listening to The Palace Papers by Tina Brown. Last year I listened to her Diana book and I don't remember feeling so scummy. Brown in this book is a little bit like the person at the dinner party who introduces people to each other and for the interesting fact its the worst thing they have ever done "Nathaniel, this Phil, he has run over two cats, one of them intentionally."

I am about 20 percent through this and it's utterly fascinating. The mother in here not only lied about herself getting cancer three times but also lied about her young daughters medical condition, going as far as getting her daughter a feeding tube installed! 😮 Her family had no idea it was lies.

One Italian summer
I just read the first 100 pages of Graphic Novel called Ducks by Kate Beaton. Its autobiographical account of her time working in the Alberta oil fields and the first hundred pages are really fantastic. So far, no ducks!!!
The Queen who came in from the cold by SJ Bennett. Her latest novel in which Queen Elizabeth plays detective - lots of fun!
