Dréya (dreyareads) If you need a short story you must check out Bad Date: A Short Story by Ellery Lloyd. It was an easy read.

Sarah B | 179 comments I have started on another horse related nonfiction book. And I noticed I also tend to read a lot of books that have very few reviews. This is another one of those.

Shavetails and Bell Sharps: The History of the U.S. Army Mule
Shavetails and Bell Sharps The History of the U.S. Army Mule by Emmett M. Essin
Emmett M. Essin

The first part discusses the war with Mexico in 1846-1848. Mules were needed to pull pack wagons and to carry supplies. But the US Army was used of wagons and items needed to be repackaged to be carried on mules. I actually was laughing at some of the stuff in the early part of the chapter... The naughty mule carrying tent poles got the poles jammed on young trees.... 🤣🤣🤣 No doubt he started braying too then!

Never dreamed I would laugh at this dense book!

I am almost 1/4 through it...

3.5 stars. Read as a #NetGalley #ARC
Sequel to the fabulous The War of the Roses – The Children by Warren Adler
sobering and strangely tender.

Lori was a Movie Star in the past and now is a Nun. It doesn’t seem to fit, such a change, so her Niece is interviewing her to find out the whole story.

For Non-Fiction, Everyone's Seen My Tits Stories and Reflections from an Unlikely Feminist by Keeley Hazell Everyone's Seen My Tits: Stories and Reflections from an Unlikely Feminist by Keeley Hazell
This Exposes to me a Gap in Feminism where only Elite, White, Educated Women get a Voice. Keeley as she grows and goes through hard events starts identifying as a Feminist. I like this book more than I expected. Recommend

I am also reading The Eye of the World. I just started, I haven't even finished the prologue yet, so we will see how this goes from here on out.
