I used to go , on first screenings of various films ( on a theater, that has been 'burned down' by pretentious protestors
here in dt Athens. But let's leave this aside, I watched a movie, based on one of his books 'dead season' or sth along that line, and I always wanted to get one of his books. What woud ya recommend then my Zombie fiend?
Side note: Our translated editions, have so silly covers here, that they continualy 'put me off' reading this author, I gotta have, an original copy, on my hands

I just finished TGND and it was excellent. I wouldn't be quick to recommend, though, as its subject matter is definitely not for everyone (it's fiction but based on a brutal true crime story) and at times it gets pretty gruesome. Proceed at your own risk, I guess?

Ghostlight
LOTR The Two Towers > that's a pretty long read there mate! ya better have your priorities straight, or you'll nvr ever finish this trilogy!
Bless Your Heart
Catfish Rolling" <-Nvr have I heard of that one, is it fan-fic/ other genre?

looking on yr (hand-picked;) books-or freebie e-books, I can't stop thinking, that I have to give some a tryout - My most perverse ones, should probably be from
Tales from the Crypt Vol3 or
Thomas Tessier θεσπέσιο πτώμα &
the semi-classic Lord of lies by Grraham Mastertom
which has a really distubing ( still loved it) opening chapter, of mutilation & extreme scenes, that slightly bring forth to mind memories of giallo SideFX, and killings 'out of the ordinary'
Note: Found the book, there's the translation: Finishing touches
