The Hottest Dishes of the Tartar Cuisine and
Barbara Isn't Dying.
I read them in English, I might read them over in German (original language.) The author has an interesting way of ending the novels, they just sorta stop. Like "That's enough, you can guess the rest"

A cross of historic fiction with literary fiction quiet undertones, fixed in a 1700s time period, yet dual timeline, about the daughters of a famous English painter, Thomas Gainsborough.
Was very beautiful.
Now I'm trying to decide which book I will embark on next. I have 2 ARCs, but their publication date is far out, so I may pick up another on my TBR.
Decision, decisions. Hence why I'm on here now. Sorting my thoughts.

Also, rereading red white and royal blue by Casey McQuinston for a Reddit read along

Recently bought That’s Not My Name by Megan Lally, because I like the small town setting and how she gave glimpses of what Lola was like and I really wanted her to be okay in the end.
Vivien Chien’s ‘Death by Dumpling: A Noodle Shop Mystery’ I’ve only read a bit of while I was there. Not bad of a book, but I’d have to read more of it to possibly want to buy it. I did really like the world building of what the Asia district was like.
Laura Nowlin’s ‘If He Had Been With Me’ I’ve always wanted to read seeing how delicious that lolipop cover was. Saw it at Barnes & Noble and read a bit of it too, the same day I went through all three of these books.
I do like the world building and can see my characters being apart of it, but I’d have to read more to warrant buying it. The school setting is really good though and I really like the whole childhood aspect.

Nah, The Inheritance Games are underwhelming. I have read the book without knowing Knives Out and wasn't that impressed

Audible: Endurance:Shackleton's Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing
Kindle: Anna O. by Matthew Blake

I would love to hear what you thought of it. I had to set it aside so I can come back to it later. I just could not get into it with my short attention span.
