I'm currently reading Tree Gods by R. Lee Fryar and Under the Dragon Moon by Mawce Hanlin, both queer fantasy authors kind enough to let me read an ARC.

Literally at Barnes & Nobles right now and their book of the month is Emma Lord’s ‘Begin Again’. It hits all the stuff I love in a book. The world building is really all solid and I could easily picture my own characters being apart of this world.

Emma doesn’t shy away at all in naturally including the name of the small town, and I really love characters that come from small towns.

Main character seems to have gone to the wrong dorm, the RA is so sleep deprived for whatever reason, that he has no idea he was supposed to meet with the main character.

All that is absolutely perfect for a character to slip in and join the world. Easily a buy for me.

I happened to also see ‘Punk 57’ which is kind of smutty, but I like the pen pal aspects it has. I’ve read it before digitally and only partially, so this was also an easy grab.
