Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon discussion

How is your readathon going so far? We have been reading for a couple hours now, and if you have not taken a break yet, you really should stand up, move around, drink something, eat something, pet the reading buddies, etc. Then grab your book for our second scheduled reading sprint. We start at the top of the hour, and the sprint officially ends at the end of Hour 4.

What are you reading for this one?

I will open Hour 8, Jamie. I will you might still be busy then.

I am continuing with Zorro by Isabel Allende. This is the last of the 4 books I am reading as suggestions made by Deweys friends. This novel is a delight to read and ponder on.

Starting on pg 13 of

So far I have read in bed for the first sprint.
Then I listened to audio as I walked the dog and started the laundry. I just made some breakfast of Avocado Toast with Egg.
NOW I will sit down and get into The Dark Hours.

I just finished my 1st book, The Go-Between by L. P. Hartley, and started my 2nd book, Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin.

I am engrossed in Neverwhere. What a read!

I read 44 pages of Horse. Loving it so far!
Off to have some breakfast now...

I did the afternoon walk around the neighborhood for 30 minutes, getting a little tired. Coke was good but back to coffee. Going to eat something more soon. Perry Mason is now in the courtroom in the audio for The Case of the Blonde Bonanza

Still going strong with Shadow and Bone, after second sprint I have just a little bit more than a third of the book left. It's going really great but I can feel losing focus and getting blured vision here and there, so it would probably be a good time for some movement.

Just ate lunch, and I've started the NetGalley ARC of Christmas and Other Horrors: A Winter Solstice Anthology. Releases October 24. I've been very excited to read this, and received it yesterday.

I got 37 pages of Light of the Jedi read during the Hour 4 sprint. Just about 20 pages left in the book...
