Miss A | 20 comments I'm in a weird reading mood and I think I may want to read something that doesn't exist. All I know is that I want a book that will make me feel cosy and autumnal (not Halloween - I don't want horror, I want 'sitting by a log fire after a long stroll in the countryside with a crisp breeze seeing the leaves changing colour' vibe).

I think this might possibly be provided by something that has the humour of P G Wodehouse with the ever so slightly gothic atmosphere of Dickens with a plot worthy of Agatha Christie - not necessarily a mystery but a well contrived story. Or maybe I don't, maybe you know what I need better than I do (as long as it's not fantasy, sci-fi or primarily romance - a romance subplot is fine but have just finished a romance genre binge and now need something different)! I just know I need suggestions before I decline into a reading slump XD

Thank so much - that's really helpful, a lot of stuff to consider and having just looked at the first couple, think I'm going to have a much longer tbr shortly!
