Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start.

What is everyone reading this week?

I finished Silver Nitrate over the weekend which was a wonderfully spooky book about old films, sorcerers, curses, and two friends caught up in the middle. Definitely recommend. Now I'm working on the final Lockwood & Co book, The Empty Grave, as well as a Pirates of the Caribbean book, The Price of Freedom. I've been meaning to read this for ages but the only place that had a copy was Virginia Beach and I wasn't willing to pay for a library card. But now their cards are free for in state residents (if you didn't know that, now you do, and you should definitely take advantage) so here I am years late, finally reading it. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Happy reading!

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 516 comments I finished reading The Girl Who Knew too Much by Amanda Quick, am currently reading Payback in Death by J.D. Robb, and then I will start The Victory Garden by Rhys Bowen, and finish Cleat Cute by Meryl Wilsner (the fact that this is last on the list is in no way a criticism of the book- just that I love the In Death series, and that I need to finish The Victory Garden this month).
I have to go to VA Bch for an oil change and trip check on my Escape (before I escape again into the mountains), so I think I'll go and get a library card.
Yay.

Susan Newman | 44 comments I’ve paid the last several years for VA Beach’s card. It’s been worth it to me, but I’m thrilled the change has come!
