We read Stendhal's Red and Black this year, Lorraine. So we will take a break from him for next year. We could consider him for the year after if you wish. Better to look for newer authors than to read the same author. Diversity makes things interesting.

I read Invisible Man in 2020 and highly recommend it!
I rated it five stars, and I don't do that very often.
