if anyone has thoughts on the book "Looking Glass Sound", I just finished it and I'm scratching my head haha

Novel; Diary of a Void. It was quite interesting I gave it 6.5/10 Weird and confusing, but interesting enough, quirky writing, and cool as translated from Japanese.

Graphic novel; Little Bird. Also 6.5/10. Loved the artwork, and the story was good too, just not really my cup of tea in the GN world.

Read these both on the same day, hence the double share.

coworker wanted to read a book together and chose Gallant because I already had it. 3/5 it was whimsical and unique but wasn't for me.

I read The Cellar by Natasha Preston... it was 1 star for me. So I'm in need of a good palate cleanser!

2023 Nobel Prize winner The Other Name--two stars, my final comment: meh. On the other hand, I'm thrilled to be listening to Naomi Klein reading her book, Doppelgänger (both concern doppelgängers). Klein's non-fiction work is worthy of the prize.

the last book read is "Knights of Pardaillan" by Michel Zevaco - 5/5 stars. Adventure, love, sacrifice, friendship, betrayals, espionage... wonderful.

Just finished Valhalla is Full of Hunks: A Monstrously Mythic Tale by C. Rochelle
I gave it 5/5 because I love her writing and the monster smut, the banter. Danger Noodles. This one is Norse Mythology inspired, the Herculeia duet (thats happens before this one) is Greek mythology. Both is Why Choose and I know it's not everybodys tea. And it isnt written as most are used too.

I just read "Ghost in the Serpent by Jonathan Moeller and rated it 4 stars. He's a great author. Currently reading The Magicians Guild by Trudi Canavan which was suppose to be a group read on the 1st of Oct Guess the email was wrong that I got for that one.
