message 2319: by Rosemary (new)

Rosemary Crosson | 11 comments I recently finished The Echo of Old Books by Barbara Davis. I gave it 5 stars. The novel is a compelling story centered around Ashlyn Greer, the owner of a rare book shop and a restorer of old books. She comes across a pair of old books without an author and becomes obsessed with finding who penned the books as well as whether the people who penned them actually existed.

message 2322: by ani (new)

ani | 4 comments The Temptation Of Magic : 3 stars. I was really excited going into this book because it had all the elements; the supernatural, dark academia, forbidden romance. And they were there but it was NOT executed well I had to flick through the pages just to get through the book and it just felt like something was missing . Negativity aside it was a good experience !!
