Jeannie | 12 comments Killers of the Flower Moon 5/5. I've read three of his books and I have The Wager on my must read stack! He is awesome at research and can make non fiction a story to be read!

message 438: by Monica (new)

Monica Just finished Book 2 of The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy

Anything by Rick Riordan is *chef's kiss.* Definitely not as good as the original PJO and HOO series but still super enjoyable and fun. I expected Apollo to be completely different- more chill and down-to-earth like how he was in the original series- so seeing him as Lester- selfish, self-absorbed- has made me take longer to get through this series. However, still appreciate this book

Amanda (has no self-control re: books) (ajosephine) | 30 comments @Jeannie Oppliger I thought Killers of the Flower Moon was fantastic. He’s such a good writer, I hardly remembered I was reading non-fiction (plus the story 🫤). I also gave it a 5/5, although I read it a while ago. I’m reading The Wager now.

A brilliant pop-science work of Zach and Kelly Weinersmiths.

4 years, hundreds and hundreds of books, papers and other materials, compressed into 430 pages of pure joy.
