Somewhere on a coast of Altheisis
I stare out across the horizon, where the wisps of cream and magenta clouds seem to drift lazily atop the water. A cool sea breeze tugs at my hair.
Sunlight, I think to myself. How peculiar it is. How daunting. And yet here I stand, waiting for the sun, watching it move.

I raise my gaze in sudden curiosity.
The ship? Already?
I am soon to meet the one I have been looking for.

Jordan looked up and dropped the quill, he was just writing a letter back to his home land Unorlox, but now he was needed, he sighed and went up top deck to see where they have landed
I summon up confidence. Deep breaths, Ai. You can do this. You must.
With that I stride towards the dock.
With that I stride towards the dock.

(Her. Look at character registration for description)
I see him. He makes his way towards me and I shove my hand outwards, almost a little too forcefully.
"Aife. Aife Faven of the LCO. Thank you for coming."

Jordan smiled slightly and took it gently "Nice to meet you, my name is Jordan Noblis, are you my contact?" He asked in smooth heavy accented voice
I force a smile. "That would be me. I'm so glad you agreed to meet."
I glance back at the ship. "How many others are on there? Is there any chance we could speak more in private?"
((Be right back))

Sure enough, the people begin to trail out of the ship.
I nod. "Alright. Headquarters may take a while to reach, I'm sorry. We travel on foot."
I nod. "Alright. Headquarters may take a while to reach, I'm sorry. We travel on foot."

I feel bile rise up in my throat, but my father's voice scolds me in my head. Show no weakness.
"As you know, I'm looking for sorcerers. There aren't enough left in this world. I want to create... something new. Something big."

Mind mages... these days they are so rare.
I force down my initial judgement, remembering Jordan's skill, and compose myself.
"Of course. For that I was prepared." I raise my voice to address the surrounding people. "Welcome, mages."

Oh. Right. Got it.
I keep that strained smile on my lips.
"I'll keep that in mind." Bloody hell, so many mind-readers...
The soft morning breeze plays with my hair as I settle my gaze over Jordan once more. "Shall we go?"

I lead them up the rocky slope away from the beach, and we begin our journey over the clifftops, pebbles crunching underfoot.
Mind mages. My father always stated they were a bunch of preachers cloaked in black robes. But then, he never was one for religion.

I laugh, but it comes out too high and shrill, so I drop my dismissive manner almost immediately.
"I don't know what you mean by 'crack'," I say stiffly, "but I respect your words. I do swear, though. I swear on my father's grave I seek only allegiance."

I blink, careful not to give anything away. I hadn't told him in my letter I'm an Elemental. It's okay. He can go on thinking he's the 'most powerful'.
"Oh, I'm sure." I wave a dismissive hand. "So, Jordan, tell me about yourself. You came from Unorlox, yes? What is it like there?"

I feel a need to scoff at this gush of word-vomit. Sure, it sounds a better place than my childhood home, but to dedicate oneself completely to purity of the mind... I shrug it off. It's beyond me. Anyway, this is probably just my father talking in my head. Like father, like daughter.
"Sounds charming," I manage, hoping I sound sincere.

I glare at him but hold my tongue. Jesus Christ. My father was right about them.
We walk in a tense silence for a while, Jordan seeming perfectly content with discontinuing the conversation. Finally we come to a winding path that leads onto flat, grassy land.
"Not far now," I tell the mages and... semi-mages.

Those words trigger something inside me, and my eyes widen as memories fight their way to the surface. I make an intelligent noise closely resembling the one known as "gah".
"Tauren," I choke out.
Calm down, you idiot. He's a bloody mind mage. He'll think you're fucked up in the head.
"Tauren," I repeat, louder. "I was brought up in Tauren, but now I'm travelling. I don't really have a home at the moment."

I scowl at this mention of a 'crack'.
"Tauren is no weakness of mine," I say. "Sure, it was harsh, but you toughen up. It was good life preparation."

I close my eyes for a second, pressing my lips together tightly. Okay. Okay.
When I open my eyes again, we have stopped, and for a moment I wonder why, until I see the great, vine-covered stone wall blocking out path. I allow myself to breathe.
"We're here."
((Going to have to continue tomorrow, I have homework. Thanks for the RP :) ))

Jordan looked at the stone wall and smiled "Okay, how do we get in? and don't think we have finished our conversation, I need to teach you a couple of things if we are too stay her"

I am sick and tired of following these people! I dont care if the captain wants to find out the location of some sorcerers hide out, these people make me feel uneasy, like they know I'm there, they're just waiting for me to make the first move. I cant exactly under no circumstances be unnoticed it they are mind readers or something now can I!Besides, i'm a sailor, not some spy!!
And why would the captain want to know where the sorcerer's are? Does he think that he will harness their powers or something?! And why ME. Why not that creepy 'advisor' of his, always flitting around him. Or mr Gossip, the first mate? I ball my fists. I've only been in his crew for 2 seasons but really! im not looking where i'm going and run into a tree.
They come to a stop at a very big, very high stone wall covered in bush and vines and who knows what. I crouch behind a large thicket of brambles next to my tree ,just of the road, watching them intently.
Sitting in the stern of the boat I watch as the company I had been tracking made their journey upwards towards the peak of the hill. bunch of Unorlockians. Tricky folk who would manipulate you into thinking you had knots of rope for feet.
Never trusted a Mind mage, But under Captains strict orders i followed their boat to the port.
Alfie, one of the newer recruits had been sent to find out the sorcerers hiding places. We sailors love a good hustle, especially me. As I was taught at a young age to hustle a good deal whats more, If I could uncover their hiding holes I would be able to locate them if the worse were to happen I could blackmail them, They may be masters of the mind but I can trick even the most difficult of foe.
I must rely that Alfie will bring back the information i so desperately need.

I move closer to hear what they are saying, ducking behind a tall oak tree. I also take in my surroundings. This. This place is weird, on one side of the path there are heaps of rock and no life what soever, yet on my side, the forest is all but bursting with greenness.
The lady says some strange words, something like 'Eshucha MilandresS' and then these freaky big eyes appear in the wall and some how wisper 'Hesparan Dil......'( I didn't catch the rest) back. Then the lady walks through the wall!!!! With some hesitation, the others follow.
I momentarily contemplate trying to climb the wall to follow them, but something tells me not to. This is no ordinary wall. This is a living thing.
I go up to the wall and tap it, solid rock. Normally, i could have climbed this in a flash, but i don't think it would end well. Maybe i should just report back to Var about what i have found.
I start jogging back down the slope.
