Could you give me book recommendations (with romance, if possible) with asexual main characters? I speak Spanish so they can be in Spanish or English🙏🙏

I haven’t read a whole lot (yet) myself, so am keen to hear what other people recommend, but a few that I’ve enjoyed have been:

Is Love the Answer? (Manga, and doesn’t really have much romance in it regarding MC)
Let’s Talk About Love (FM, has romance)
Drive the Net (Delay of Game book 1) (MM) - it’s never explicitly mentioned but one of the MMCs reads very much as demi

No problem, happy to help! I also just remembered Aces Wild as well, I’m dipping in and out of that and so far there’s a little romance and I think there’s more implied, but it’s a lot of fun nonetheless 😄💜

I enjoyed baker thief which has some? romance! not romance focussed though. loveless' main character is aroace, so no romance but still good

I am currently reading "Loveless" by Alice Oseman. I really enjoyed it, the main character is Aro-Ace. I am not Aro or Ace so I do not know how accurately it depicts the sexuality, but I know Oseman is really good about getting things like that right.

I know it! But since she is Aro I understand that the book has no romance :(

There is actually romance in it! The romance is just not focused on the main character.

Honestly, good Ace representation in fiction (in my opinion) is really hard to come by. Here are some that I've found with my impressions:

-Loveless by Alice Oseman (very sweet, some romance but not with main character, focuses more on love through friendship)

-The Charm Offensive (m/m bi, graysexual rep, well done, includes romance and sweet, but also includes sex--heads up if that's a dealbreaker for you)

-The Cybernetic Tea Shop by Meredith Katz (short and very sweet, includes F/F romance)

-The Bone People by Keri Hulme (includes a M/F romance with MC Ace, but with very troubled characters; TW child abuse)

-Let's Talk About Love by Claire Kann (not my fave, honestly, as MC Ace is presented as too perfect IMO, but does include F/M romance and many people love it so 🤷🏼‍♀️)

-Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire (includes romance with Ace character but it's F/M romance from afar...or the past...long distance alternate universe romance??? Anyways, not a ton of romance)

Honestly I really loved Loveless by Alice Oseman because I am both Aromatic and Asexual! But what I do know is all about both Aro and ace, so sorry.

Jae's Perfect Rhythm is a highly rated F/F romance novel with an ace MC.

I have recently read His quiet agent by Ada Maria Soto, m/m romance with asexual MC and its sequel Agents of winter. I liked both of them a lot!
