George Veck | 17 comments Hi Lilian,

My newest book 91-Day Sanction is a tragicomedy/crime fiction tale set in Gwynedd, North Wales that is 67k words long. Should it pique your interest, I have it available in epub, kpf or pdf form.

Best wishes!

Blurb
Sadistic work coach James Burgess has finally bagged his dream job after three years of trying, two hundred miles from home in rural Gwynedd, north Wales. But with promotion firmly in mind, cutting the jobcentre's wage bill soon becomes his sport, at any cost, leaving a trail of chaos and hunger in his wake.

As house prices soar and job prospects dwindle, many of James' ''casualties of war'' wind up at Morywelon homeless hostel, where the waiting list is insatiable. Managing such a place takes gall, and Denise Groves' ten-year stint certainly took its psychological toll. But she's back for a second spell, to the job she loved and held since leaving school with no GCSEs.

The catch? Well, this time, their security guards have been laid off...

Denise fiercely defends residents against ignorant scorn the wider community assumes to inflict, so is held in the highest regard by most. But tough decisions must be made, and hell-raisers don't always leave when asked nicely...

Denise needs her support network more than ever, but it's fallen off a cliff. After a decade in the 'single lane', all best mate Jules wants is to set her up. Great, if only for Jules' dodgy choice of men. Seedy, serial cockney scammer Rick is her latest, and has a few turbulent potential answers for Denise's 'problem'.

Title: The Law of the Elementari
Bio:
Annabelle Argyle isn’t just unstable—she’s dangerous.

As one of the few omniwalkers who can wield all four elements, she’s been confined to the Aldoren base her entire life, training under the oppressive rule of Elementari law. To the Kingdom, her power is a threat that must be controlled. To the rebels in Zedara, she’s a weapon worth dying for.

When her unstable powers spark an accident, Annabelle is forced to train with Theo, an infuriatingly arrogant firewalker. But Theo has his own secrets, and when rebellion explodes across the land, Annabelle finds herself ambushed and thrust into a conflict she never asked for.

Caught between the ruthless Kingdom and the rebels who claim to fight for freedom, Annabelle discovers that both sides are hiding dangerous truths. With enemies closing in and allies she can’t trust, she faces a choice: use her power to support the rebellion, ally with the King, or forge her own path—even if it means turning against everyone she loves.

Hi are you interested to read a Southeast Asian folklore magical realism novel?
Blurb:
In the summer of 2002, a 13-year-old boy and his mother moved to a small town, Banca.

It seems peaceful and the people nice. But when the rain begins to fall, the boy begins to realize that there is something wrong in this quiet town. A girl disappears and his classmates and teacher are the least to care. And when he started to search for answers, he discovered that there were more. An elderly neighbor warned him and suddenly, the town isn't what it seems to be.

Hi, Lillian.

Would you be interested in reviewing my new book? It’s set in Australia and is a prequel to my debut novel GOLD! — The Kincaid Saga, Book One.

Both books, although obviously linked, are written as standalone stories.
(Feargus is on preorder at the moment and due for release on April 11. I’d still love a review even if you can’t manage it by then; better late than never, as they say.)

Here’s a brief blurb:
Feargus Kincaid is a down-to-earth working-class Aussie bloke. He wouldn’t hurt a fly—or would he?
When his girlfriend is attacked by three thugs, he and his best mate mete out their own form of rough justice, setting in train a series of events that will propel them into the shady world of gangsters, protection racketeers, and The Mafia. In the 1940s and 50s, life in Australia was simple. Feargus is about to see how complicated it can get.

After a confrontation that leaves him with severe injuries, and despite his best intentions, Feargus finds himself drawn into a life of crime and drug addiction from which escape seems impossible. With the help of his friend and partner in crime, Paddy, he struggles to attain redemption for himself and a secure future for his sons.

Sometimes, however, Fate has other ideas.

It's not a sweet romance, nor is it a happy family tale. Feargus is basically a good guy who makes some bad choices and finds it hard mending his ways.
As usual, all characters in this story are fictional, but many are composites of everyday Aussies I’ve come across over several decades of living in this great and wonderous land we call Oz.

I can send it as a PDF or an EBOOK. Please email me and let me know your preferences.
Thanks in anticipation.

Aurora Ms | 4 comments 📚 ARC Readers Wanted for Twisted! 📚

Hey everyone!

I’m a new author and just released my latest psychological thriller, Twisted. It’s a dark, character-driven story about two best friends whose bond unravels after a tragedy — and the dangerous secrets that refuse to stay buried.

If you enjoy stories with obsessive friendships, unreliable narrators, and endings that linger long after you’ve finished the last page, this one might be right up your alley.

📖 About the book:
Some promises were never meant to be kept…

When Chloe met Harper in second grade, their friendship felt like it would last forever — built on secrets, pinky promises, and imaginary adventures. But growing up isn’t always kind. As jealousy, trauma, and lies creep in, their bond begins to fray.

Now, Chloe’s world is unraveling. Desperate to hold onto the one person who truly saw her, she crosses lines she swore she never would… until the past resurfaces in ways neither girl could have imagined.

Part coming-of-age, part psychological mystery, Twisted is a haunting look at obsession, betrayal, and the desperate lengths we’ll go for the people we refuse to lose.

📌 Some friendships are sacred.
Some are cursed.
Some are… both.

✨ What I’m Offering:

My psychological coming-of-age mystery Twisted is officially out — free to buy on Kindle

My endless gratitude ❤️

✨ What I Ask in Return:

An honest review posted on Amazon and/or Goodreads within a couple of weeks

Optional: share a teaser quote, reaction, or your favorite moment!

🔪📖 Let’s get Twisted together
If you’re interested, you can check it out here: https://amzn.in/d/h8l2W9z

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, reviews, or just hearing your thoughts if psychological thrillers are your thing. Thanks so much for letting me share this with you!

REAPER follows a Texas Ranger special operations team as they uncover a cartel-backed terrorist plot unfolding on American soil. Think Jack Carr meets Sicario — layered with real-world law enforcement and military experience. It’s fast-paced, grounded in authentic tactics, and built for readers who like their thrillers razor-sharp and unflinching.

I’d love to connect with anyone interested in the genre. Happy to share ARCs or just chat thrillers and tactics. Feel free to reply or message me directly.

📘 REAPER – A Task Force Raven Thriller is available in paperback, hardcover, ebook, and audiobook.

The Second Artificer
Thaddeus built a machine to bring his wife back from the dead.
It opened a Rift instead.
Now, trapped in a dying world where time folds, memories betray, and magic devours the mind that wields it, Thaddeus must unravel the truth behind the collapse of reality — before it erases him completely.
But every answer comes with a cost, and the deeper he goes, the more he realizes:
He’s not the first to try.
He may not even be the last.
Featuring recursive timelines, fractured identity, demonic contracts, a dragon king, and a casino that feeds on memory, this novel is a metaphysical descent into grief, power, and the price of going beyond what was meant for man to understand.

I could really use some reviews on Reaper, both here and on Amazon. I know there are many full TBRs, but if you squeeze an indie author in, I'd be so grateful.

Hope Redgrave | 8 comments Hi!!! I'm Hope!!! Author of Obsession!!

Blurb:
What happens when Life and Death collide?

As the Embodiment of Life, Aveoth must preserve the living and continue his legacy. His existence is governed by these two purposes. But questions of morality began to creep into his mind and his once clear path becomes increasingly blurred.

Everything he once knew changes when he finally meets her—Raizel, the Embodiment of Death.

Trained from childhood, Raizel moves through existence detached from most emotions and living in silent obedience. Love, hate, sorrow, despair and most other emotions are foreign to her. But someone breaks through her cold existence—a man who claims to love her. Yet his twisted devotion is marked by merciless and ritualistic murders.

The more Aveoth and Raizel work together to unveil the mystery, the more they are haunted by the corpses that are left behind. Each death began to pull them closer to the truth—and to each other. The killings are personal and the killer’s obsession with Raizel is unmistakable. Yet, beneath the surface of their search, something far darker prevails—a growing tension which suggests the killer may be closer than either of them realizes.
Is it affection or madness?

As the line between love and obsession blurs, Aveoth and Raizel begin to wonder: What if the killer isn’t an outsider, but someone close to them—much closer. And if that’s true, how long until their identity comes to light?

In a universe where Life and Death are bound by their own destiny, can they uncover the real murderer before the next victim falls? Or is the answer one neither of them is prepared to face?

J.M. North | 3 comments Hi, I'm looking for reviewers for a true crime collection entitled
Dead Ends: Cold Case Files of America's Most Elusive Serial Killers by J.M. North.

They vanished into the margins—victims of crimes too brutal to forget, yet too complex to solve.

From quiet suburbs to dark highways, Dead Ends takes you deep into fifteen of America’s most haunting unsolved serial murder cases. These are not tales of legend or myth—they are real stories, backed by evidence, witness accounts, and chilling patterns left behind by killers who walked away without a trace.

Each chapter unravels a different cold case where a serial predator is suspected, but justice remains elusive. From the shadowy figure known as the Freeway Phantom to the sinister mystery behind the West Mesa Bone Collector, these investigations explore the victims, the overlooked clues, and the systemic failures that allowed these killers to disappear.

Tamsin St. James | 2 comments Hiya! I'm a debut indie author looking for ARC sign-ups for Hollow Secrets - a spicy, modern retelling of Sleepy Hollow. From Katrina’s POV.

✨ARCS go out Sept 20th
✨It'll be an eARC shared via Bookfunnel
✨Book goes live Oct 3rd
✨Ideally reviews would be shared by Oct 18th

Sign up here: https://bit.ly/3GVa4ZR

Katrina Van Tassel doesn’t believe in ghosts, witches or the occult. And she certainly doesn’t believe in the tale of the Headless Horseman. So, when she moves back to Sleepy Hollow following her mother’s death, and the townspeople start turning up without their heads, she thinks there must be a logical explanation for it all.

It’s not long before Ichabod Crane, the dark and brooding music professor, is accused of being involved in the grisly crimes.

With the small town getting more dangerous by the minute, can he convince Katrina of what’s really happening? And can he do it before it’s too late?

message 100: by Моника (new)

Моника Rizova Hi guys!! Week ago, I published my first novel on Amazon! Quite happy and excited. You should check it out if you are into mystery/ thriller but set in XIX London (akin to sensational fiction), meta writing and just a tinyyyyy bit of supernatural. Otherwise it's romantic story about fate. Here is the blurb and the link:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FNPMK63G

Are we just pawns in the hands of Fate, or we can do something about it, do we have the might to change its course? Is our Will as strong as Fate? Or they both are in eternal dance together, for ever and ever?
The place is London, XIX th century. One heroine that is a resentful judge - to herself. One man who is a romantic philosopher. Both read classic novels. A woman that cries yellow tears when her love is awakened. Friendship, wrath, revenge. Secrets, fake identities. Driven to love and hate. Angels and demons whispering in the human's ear. Bitter jealosy. Death. After life - where we can meet the great Dickens, Hugo, Collins, Meredith.
Fatalité is a unique tale of the human emotions and destiny.

Thank you!
