Lots of big side tangents but interesting lessons on the science of fire and climate change. I really can't imagine that this level of fire exists and it really didn't until recently. I definitely need to be more thoughtful in not supporting the petroleum companies but they really are systemic and pervasive at this point, all the cheap poly woods, poly clothes and plastic. I have been trying to be better in choices but it is overwhelming.

I am the part where he is talking about the equipment necessary to mine the pine tars and it is mind boggling. The expense and the devastation created by this kind of mining.
I've finished one book I was reading before I started this, so can focus a bit more on it.

I saw it and was interested, but I have trouble reading graphic novels.
On another note, this is a bit of a fail for me, because I was still only at about pg 100 and I have to return the book to the library, so I have to put it off until another time.
