Christine Skarbek (euculturalissues) | 3 comments As the "brilliant author" of a recently published political/adventure memoir, I have emailed the ALA as to the book's overwhelmingly positive reception by readers both in the States and abroad.

It's title is Confronting Power and Chaos: the Uncharted Kaleidoscope of My Life. I followed the ALA's instructions as to its requirements but haven't gotten any reply. Should I have my publisher approach the ALA's Booklist Journal? How do I get my book on library shelves across the country? Several public libraries have been happy to purchase it for their shelves.
Thank you,
Christine Skarbek

Christine Skarbek (euculturalissues) | 3 comments If you are editing the catalog you are exactly the right people I need to talk to, aren’t you?

Curious

Christine Skarbek (euculturalissues) | 3 comments Sorry, Corinne. I think I don't understand what you do as librarians. I thought you all were connected to the ALA and its Booklist Journal. If you are not, I apologize for disturbing you.
